"Decent gear, but the service could be better"
I used travelingbaby.com once, and the gear itself was fine, nothing really to complain about there. But the communication with the staff left a lot to be desired. The replies felt short and a little rude, and I had to follow up twice just to get clear information. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but personally, I wouldn’t rush to use them again unless the customer service improves...

"Not a ton of options for baby stuff"
I was looking for baby gear and thought there’d be more to choose from. A few things I needed weren’t even listed, and in some categories it felt like there was just one option. It was fine enough, but I was expecting more variety before I booked. Anyway.

"Stroller wasn’t in the best shape"
The stroller I received had wobbly wheels and the fabric was dirty, so I didn’t feel totally comfortable using it. Maybe it just got overlooked, but I was hoping it would be in safer, cleaner condition.

"I waited around for the pickup, and once..."
I waited around for the pickup, and once again it was late and then just never showed up. The most frustrating part was that there was no actual person to contact or explain what was going on, just the usual automated stuff that didn’t help at all

"Reservation process was a headache"
Trying to make a reservation was way more confusing than it needed to be. I felt like I kept getting passed around without anyone really giving me a clear answer, and by the end I was just frustrated...

"Not as clean or reassuring as I expected"
I was really hoping to feel confident using the baby gear, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. Some of the items just didn’t seem as clean or carefully checked as I would’ve liked, and with a baby that’s a big deal for me. I expected to feel reassured, but instead I kept second-guessing whether everything was safe enough. Maybe other people have had a better experience, but I personally wouldn’t use them again.

"Kind of disappointed with the car seat"
I’m torn because I really wanted this to work out, but the car seat showed up in rough shape. It was dirty, and the straps looked really worn, which made me uncomfortable using it. Just frustrating because I expected it to be in much better condition...

"Wouldn’t rent from them again"
Not gonna lie, I was disappointed with my experience using Traveling Baby. The stroller arrived later than I expected, and when it finally got there, it looked really worn out, like it had been through a lot and hadn’t been cleaned very well.

Customer service did get back to me, but the responses were slow and didn’t really solve much. For what I paid, I expected the whole thing to be a lot easier. Next time, I’ll probably just bring my own gear or try a different rental company.

"No help with a last-minute booking"
Tried to book last minute support wasn’t much help. The replies were late. Super short too. I ended up figuring it out myself, which was stressful.

"Refund was more hassle than it needed to be"
I canceled my rental a week before the trip, getting the refund turned into way more of a process than it should’ve been. It felt like a simple thing was made unnecessarily hard. I had to email them twice and then wait longer than the timeframe they originally gave me. They did refund me in the end, so at least it got sorted, but the whole experience was annoying.

"too pricey for Basic rentals"
The rental prices felt way too high for basic baby gear. We thought it would make the trip easier, but in the end it just didn’t feel worth it for us.

"Decent rental, but the instructions really threw me off"
The rental itself was fine, so I don’t want to make it sound like everything was bad. But the pickup and setup instructions were confusing. I had to guess a few things, and maybe I was extra stressed because we were traveling with a baby, but I feel like clear directions are kind of important in that situation. It just made the whole process more annoying than it needed to be.

"Stroller worked fine, but uh, could’ve been cleaner"
The stroller showed up on time and worked for what we needed, but uh, it wasn’t as clean as I expected. There were crumbs in the seat and some sticky spots on the handle, so I ended up wiping everything down myself. For something used with a baby, I just thought it would be a bit more cleaned up beforehand.

"Barely anything I needed was in stock"
I went in hoping to grab a few basic things, but most of what I needed was out of stock. Kind of annoying to make the trip just to find the shelves looking like they were managed by a bunch of clowns.

"Didn’t feel very family friendly"
I thought this would make traveling with kids a lot easier, but it ended up feeling more stressful than helpful. The replies took a while, and I kept getting the sense they were more focused on just moving things along than actually understanding what families need. Maybe that wasn’t their intention, but it didn’t feel very supportive. I probably wouldn’t use them again.

"Pricing felt unclear and a bit sneaky"
I wish the pricing had been more upfront. It felt like some fees popped up later instead of being clearly explained from the start, which made me wonder if the company is more focused on squeezing extra money out of customers than being transparent

"I rented a high chair from..."
I rented a high chair from Traveling Baby and yeah, it technically did the job, but I was disappointed. It felt kind of wobbly, and the straps looked old, which was not exactly what I expected for something my kid was going to sit in?! I also ended up cleaning it again before using it because it didn’t feel fresh. Delivery was fine, but for the price, I really expected something sturdier and in better shape. I wouldn’t rent the high chair again.

"Setup support wasn’t helpful"

"Same car seat worries all over again"
The car seat we got from Traveling Baby was disappointing. It looked worn, the straps were a pain to adjust, and the padding felt thin and kind of dirty. I’ve dealt with questionable rental car seats before, so seeing the same issue again was just exhausting. I really didn’t feel comfortable putting my kid in it.
We ended up buying a new one locally, which was annoying and added an extra cost we weren’t planning on. Maybe we just got unlucky, but at this point I’m tired of taking that chance. I wouldn’t rent a car seat from them again.
